Hamnøy is a compact fishing hamlet with red rorbuer on the waterfront and sharp mountains behind. It is one of the most photographed places in Lofoten, and the surrounding road is narrow, so park only in designated places and watch for traffic.

Park well away from the road bend and walk in; do not stop on the road.
