Reine

Village Moskenes

A fishing village on a sheltered fjord with steep mountains on all sides, one of Lofoten's best-known sights.

About this place

Reine sits in a bowl of mountains at the head of Reinefjorden, with red and yellow rorbuer along the water. It is a starting point for hikes, boat trips and fjord views, and very busy in summer. A great place to watch the light change.

Local tip
